Wave For Change

At the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute, we believe in two things, learning and doing. For 25 years, our job has been to combine the two so the ocean around Bermuda is understood, loved, and protected.

As we commemorate our 25th anniversary in 2022, there is much to celebrate and much more to be done. With the global attention on the health of the world’s oceans, and the direct impact to Bermuda from rising sea levels attributed to global warming, BUEI is in a unique position to help individuals of all ages form a personal connection with the ocean, and to inspire them to take action to protect it.

Through building a greater appreciation of ocean eco-systems and increase awareness of how ocean health impacts every visitor to our facility, wherever they reside, BUEI will continue to influence the attitudes and behaviors of visitors from around the world for another 25 years.

BUEI is a registered non-profit (#326), and we receive no government funding.
